It is 1916 and the Battle of the Somme is raging. Tasked with taking Mametz Wood, the Welsh soldiers have dwindling supplies, heavy casualties and plummeting morale. Mametz Wood was originally developed for Ed Fringe 2014 before touring in England and Wales in 2016, including dates on the anniversary of the battle itself at the National Museum Cardiff.
